Individual Therapy

I believe you are the expert on yourself. Therapy is a collaborative process. I see my role as helping you tap into tools and resources within and around you. You are a unique individual. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy and draw on a variety of theoretical models. I have a bend toward mindfulness and apply it as a grounding foundation in my work with you. I work from an intersectional-feminist and social justice lens.

The goal of therapy is not to “fix” you. You are not broken. The human experience is fundamentally imperfect. Therapy is a journey toward acceptance of ourselves as we are. I believe self-compassion provides a foundation for a life with less suffering.
